~ ~

your home made door curtain
strips of coloured plastic
red blue yellow green
half inch double faced satin ribbon
gold buttermilk rosewood cream plum aqua
wooden beads
small
threaded on string
little mirrors on plaited yarn
three or four lengths of hippy bells
tied together
tiny tubes of brown bamboo
clipped with metal wire
it hung between kitchen and dining room
catching the light
catching the wind
tinkling as we went to and fro
catching in plates of vegetable curry
and buttons
